I will gladly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys the many varieties of sushi and oriental food in general. The staff are pleasant and friendly, but most importantly, the food is absolutely brilliant in flavor.

I have eaten in this location several times and I've had mixed experiences with customers service, mainly depending on how busy it is at the time. Food is always well prepared and tasty. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for low to mid cost quality food.

We have a group of 10, we called ahead and they had a table ready for us when we arrived. The staff was amazing with our group, especially with our energy filled children! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food was AMAZING!!! Highly recommended, especially for large groups!

This place has great sashimi. I had the tuna. Miso is good. Very good soft wasbi. Fresh ginger. I had the Hawaiian Honeymoon Which is great. Very nice wait staff. Very friendly and helped with suggestions. Tiger roll is excellent If you can handle scallop.

This place was alright. Sushi wasnt to die for but wasnt the worst I've had. The menu is subpar from what I would expect at a sushi restaurant. There are too many rolls with avocado and/or cream cheese in them. The basic maki sushi is almost nonexistent. All in all, my roll wasnt half bad, but was just left with wanting something else.

Good food, friendly service and reasonable prices.

Good prices. Tastes amazing. I had the lion king and rock n roll sushi rolls. The environment is clean and kind of modernized inside. The waitresses are polite and attentive. Overall food was amazing.

We found Sushi Tango when looking for a place for dinner during a business trip. The food was great and plentiful. We ordered two rolls and the tempura dinner and it was more than we could eat. The service was fantastic, attentive and very friendly. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling to or near Fremont and will definitely go back ourselves.

Great rolls! reasonal price and quality. I don't remember the exact names, but tango special, lady pink, and flaming one were great. but don't order nigiri here... all smelly ..especially salmon.. Salmon nigiri I ate today was the worst in my entire life...

Sushi Tango is my favorite sushi place! It’s always our number one go to. You can get good portioned rolls and plates for pretty inexpensive and their rolls are soooo good!! The service there is amazing as well and all the ladies there are so nice and friendly. It’s rarely busy which surprises me but I highly recommend this place!

Great sushi! Go here whenever I am in town. Portions are good, cuts are good, wasabi is fresh.

A group of friends and I came here on a Friday night, with a group of 8 we got sat promptly and didn’t have to wait! Before even ordering we asked if separate bills were possible, to which she agreed! Thank god! The menu is extensive with lots to choose from for every dietary need. Not the mention the price of the food was fantastic for the quality of it! This is by no means a high end sushi joint with top of the line fish in their sushi but is good! Will definitely be coming back!

Sushi is of very good value with excellent and attentive service! Make sure to choose from the large variety of sushi.

Always a favorite! Love the food and service is great. Does get a bit busy but not as bad as a lot of other places. Better pricing than a lot of other places I've been, too. Lovely vibe that's great for casual or romantic dining. Small groups recommended. Super friendly staff. Love this place lots!

Friendly and good sushi

I've been coming here for the last couple years, it's so nice to have a go to for comfort food close to home. The staff is always so friendly and it's a great feeling when you walk in and they know everything you like.

Every time I eat here, the dishes are very well prepared and presented, and the staff are beyond excellent in service. Fresh and high quality ingredients, the chef does a stellar job of beautiful presentation, and the serving staff exceptional service (esp. refills without having to ask). Try this place, you won't be disappointed! Tonight's dishes were deluxe sashimi nigiri, and, happy tango -- the first selection was excellent as usual and the second dish had a really nice light crunchy texture , which really complemented the flavor of all the ingredients. I am working my way through the entire menu, and have not been disappointed once!BTW while this place does have a very good mix of cultures represented by the customer base, "purists" should be comforted by knowing there is ALWAYS a good percentage of Asian customers......and the staff are ALL Asian.....

I eat here a lot since I work right next to it. I got to say their service is always great and they keep the spot clean regularly. Pricing is convenient and they serve big portions.

Great for lunch and dinner. We had to wait too long but the staff apologized and gave us an appetizer on the house. That is what good service should be.

I recently went to sushi tango with my family and had a great experience. We were sat promptly, the waitress was super nice, and our food came out fast. I hate that I'm giving them 4 stars, but I'm basing that on the food. They were definitely 5 stars when it comes to service. Now, the food was good, but I was a little disappointed with the sushi selection considering it's a sushi restaurant. It felt like all of the rolls only had Crab on the inside, and I like variety. Service was exceptional, as they gave us complimentary edamame, and then gave my daughter some free ice cream, which my daughter was super excited about. I appreciate small gestures like that, and the fact that they took time to make my daughter feel just as welcome.

Excellent Service, food always taste great and fresh.I order here at least 3x a week due to menu selections and great Lunch Bento Box.

Tango sushi is absolutely amazing I honestly don’t know where to begin! Our waitress is absolutely phenomenal she takes the time to ask how we are doing and checks in with us constantly through our meal to make sure we are having a great experience. The sushi is also very good and affordable! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to receive great service and even better sushi!

Wonderful Japanese food. This may be the best sushi in the bay area. Both the sushi and the tonkatsu were delicious. And the service was amazing, very fast, friendly and helpful, I asked for something that wasn't in the menu and they were happy to help. The prices are also good, we paid under 20$/person.

Get the chicken teriyaki/sushi combo. That is all.

The Sushi here is wonderful. Made fresh to order, tries to honor most special needs or requests. (With in reason, of course!!!) They also have other non-sushi dishes, just in case, some one in your group doesn't care for sushi. Their service is second to none. Very, very thoughtful and friendly. No reservation requirements but they can be busy on occasion. Best to call ahead if your party has time constraints, just to be sure. My partner loves this place. I, on the other hand, don't care for sushi but their chicken teriyaki is to die for! LOL

Hands down the best sushi in town very quiet atmosphere. Super friendly stop food was excellent service was great couldn't ask for a better nice quiet environment... We came here on a Friday night very low key no noise ordered a Hawaiian roll and a spider crab roll both were great we'll be back soon... Prices were extremely Fair under $40 for two people

Sushi is good, for reasonable prices. Plum wine is super good ! Highly recomend it :)

Spacious store and friendly service. The price is pretty good here (a little cheaper than average) and portion is fair. Lots tables available and family friendly. Decoration is decent as well.The food tastes good considering it's price (of course it's nothing outstanding). The fish is fresh and the sauce they use is good.

They have discounted sushi rolls that are pretty good. Operated mostly by courteous Japanese staff. Would recommend.
